Slamming doors, breaking windows, double entendres and a thousand laughs. That’s what you’ll find in this classic farce about an inept acting troupe touring in an awful play. This timeless hit offers the audience a look at the backstage goings-on, as well as the ridiculous show out front. And it still holds up as: “Funniest farce ever written”

This diabolically funny play is sure to confound and please all audiences. It takes an amusing fresh look at the heroes, Holmes and Watson, adds the familiar figures of Inspector Lestrade, Mrs. Hudson, and the children of Professor Moriarty, and mixes them all with wit, humor and plot twists galore to make a first-rate whodunit.

One of the great dramatic classics of American theater is coming to ICT Main Stage. Set in WWII, it’s the story of a terrible lapse in decency made by, Joe Keller, an otherwise ordinary guy. Joe’s inability to see the moral responsibilities beyond family makes for a powerful drama that’s as relevant today as it was sixty years ago.

A navy captain’s daughter falls in love with a common sailor, though her father wants her to marry the First Lord of the Admiralty. This silly, mirthful story then goes on to poke fun at the Royal Navy, parliamentary politics and the rise of unqualified people to positions of authority. As with all G & S operettas, it’s filled with memorable music and a surprise twist that changes everything near the end of the story.
