Roles: 3 female & 8 males

Harry Hunsacker The would-be actor turned would-be detective. Egotistical yet charming in a boyish way. Not tremendously smart although he thinks he is. Deep down he just wants to be important.
Nigel Grouse Harry's paid-by-the-hour assistant. At one time, he was a notable Broadway star until his marriage fell apart and he turned to alcohol. He is now sober and his acting life is behind him. He'd probably be Harry's assistant even if he wasn't paid. Nigel is actually quite brilliant, but he masks that fact. He "lets" Harry "figure" things out. His relationship to Harry is akin to an older, protective big brother.
Lt. Foster The "old pro" of the police force. Hunsacker is a thorn in his side. He respects Nigel, but he'd rather not have amateur help when it comes to detective work.
Lawrence Alexander The author/creator/screenwriter of a highly successful and profitable series of action-adventure films centered on the exploits and heroics of Ace Eliot. Lawrence Alexander's success is exceeded only by his ego. He is condescending to everyone and basically insufferable.
Monte Riggs The actor who portrays Ace Eliot. Not a versatile actor, but he lends a believability to the role of Ace.
Mary Ralston The actress who plays Billie Green, Ace Eliot's girlfriend.
Abu Mohab A mysterious figure. Ostensibly an advisor on the film, there is something not quite "right" about him.
Edward Harper The director of "Death in the Pharaoh's Tomb", the latest Ace Eliot adventure. He probably should not be a director. It is not in his nature to exert the control a director must have, nor is he decisive enough. He is, however, perfect for Lawrence Alexander because he can easily be dominated.
Trudy Warren The scriptgirl. The sort of person who's always prepared and there when you need her. Her attention to detail makes her very good at her job. She also handles the make-up.
Semiramis An exotic middle-eastern actress. In the film she plays an Ancient Egyptian princess who is brought back to life. She has a quiet dignity and an air of mystery.
Walt "Reel" Goodwin The cameraman. An out-going happy kind of guy.
