"Woman In Mind" Volunteer Opportunity - Strike
Saturday, February 4th Strike! After the show (around 10:00 pm) until completed at the Dupree Theatre
All Hands On Deck for Strike!
Saturday night, February 4th, is the final performance of "Woman In Mind". And right after the show we will be "striking" the set. This is when we take down the set and get things ready for our next show. Bring tools, or just show up to help. Any time you can spend helping will be appreciated.

What would happen if your dreary, everyday life was suddenly replaced with a wonderfully exciting, romantic life? Neglected housewife Susan is married to boring cleric Gerald. One day she gets knocked out by stepping on the tooth end of a garden rake. She experiences hilarious hallucinations in which her oppressive everyday life is replaced by a fantasy in which she is an ideal wife and mother with an ideal family. While her real family treats her with condescension and apathy, her fantasy family dresses in lovely white, always drinks champagne, lives in a stately home and tells her that she is wonderful. Eventually, however, the fantasy family becomes nightmarish and Susan begins to realize that she is going mad. This excellent, dark, witty and surreal comedy is considered to be one of Ayckbourn’s best.

Every donation above $25 will be matched by www.donorbridgetx.org, North Texas’ online resource that connects donors with nonprofit organizations like us. Donor Bridge is still tallying the results, and we’ll let you know as soon as possible how we did.
We are especially grateful to all who donated through this program, since it became almost an endurance test to donate! The GOOD NEWS is that it was tremendously successful; the bad news was how difficult it was to donate. They are very aware of your challenges and are working on solutions for next year.
