"HMS Pinafore" Set Build Volunteer Opportunity
We are set building for HMS Pinafore on the following days at the Dupree Theatre. The set for HMS Pinafore starts building on Tuesday, June 16th. Rob Stephens is the Master Carpenter and we have a lot of building to do. We are constructing on the following dates and will need all of the help we can get!
We will be doing construction on the Dupree stage because Lyric’s set has to come in and out of the shop during their rehearsals this week. So if you don’t see Rob Stephens in the workshop go onto the stage.

A navy captain’s daughter falls in love with a common sailor, though her father wants her to marry the First Lord of the Admiralty. This silly, mirthful story then goes on to poke fun at the Royal Navy, parliamentary politics and the rise of unqualified people to positions of authority. As with all G & S operettas, it’s filled with memorable music and a surprise twist that changes everything near the end of the story.

ICT Honored with 12 Column Awards and 38 Nominations for 2008!
ICT MainStage won 12 awards at the 10th Annual Column Awards. This was the most by any Non-Equity theater. Only Uptown Players, an Equity Theater, took more with 14.

The Column Theatre Awards, now in its tenth year, honors excellence in the theatre arts within the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding counties. THE COLUMN AWARDS will be held on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at the Iring Arts Center in the Carpenter Theatre.
